Default Leveling kit or 4 inch lift?!

As the title says its hard to make a decision lol. Im either gunna go with a 2.5" level spacer or a 4 inch lift. Looking to fit 305/70-17's(33-34x12) for tires but i dont want the wheel wells to have that really "full" look that i see on some with a level and 35's(i want no rubbing and room for travel when hunting/outdoors etc). Biggest concern is i want to have the least amount of stress on my front end parts as well as if i can have little to no 4x4 vibrations. Ive already got a pair of 4/1 rear HD leaf packs on order so that covers the rear. Any advice on what you guys would do would be awesome!! Thanks!

Do your home work...I could be wrong but I checked out lifts at one time I think you need to go with a 20" rim.I recall something to do with the clearance of the upper ball joint and the side wall of a the tire on a 17 " rim..This would be on a 4 wheel drive model.
Could some one verify this plz..

I would say go with the 4 inch lift if you can afford it

yes your correct...i havent bought the rims and tires yet i was just using the metric measurements on a 17" rim as an example(i dont know the equivalent for a 20 inch rim). I will be buying new rims and tires regardless after i lift. With the level im pretty sure i can keep my stock 17's but with a 4" i know i need 18 or 20 inch rims(except rancho claims their 4" works with stock rims but its hard to believe since they use a strut spacer and same style as RC and Zone 4" lift!).... I'm leaning towards the 4"...i figure spend the money and do it right the first time...not to mention the drop brackets to correct alignment on cv joints etc.

What if you get 17s with more backspacing or a negative offset?

Backspacing will put stress on the hub bearings..I wouldnt go that route..Sounds like you got it figured out..Good luck..
