I deffinately need the whole rear flushed out....not just the case but also the axle tubes.

Wish I could find a shop that says "Sure bring it in we've worked on them and know what were doing, We got you covered"

Not, well we work on them when we get it towed in, or yeh we'll swap it with a wrecker and give you 3-month warrenty.

I just can't believe with the quantity of our rams having this problem.... no-one by now has found a specialty shop.

hey Izero, any luck with that tranny doctor you had mentioned?

Just SO frustrated already..... I love my truck, but this Rear is a REAL PAIN in MY REAR!

Want to get it done before any snow hits us this winter.

Found it! (had a hard time finding this thread again)

Sorry it took so long:

Oscar's Automatic Transmissions
332 Hoboken Ave
Jersey City, NJ 07306
201-963-8589

Just a heads up, the neighborhood isn't the greatest place to be, but this old timer is a serious perfectionist and does awesome transmission work.

He should be able to help you with the rear diff too. Just give him a call.

Hey Izero, thanks for that hit.... I will deffinitely keep his info if I have a tranny issue in the future.

I found these guys NO-LIMIT PERFORMANCE in Keyport NJ, never used them before, but let me say this.....

These guys are the real thing, after speaking to owner Tom I felt very comfortable bringing my truck into them.

They work on everything high performance, they do it all soup to nuts!

He assured me that they torque everything down to spec.

It turns out the Mechanic who did the job has a 3rd gen ram a year newer then mine, and he said he recently put the same Detroit Trutrac in his truck and has been very happy with it.

If you have a Classic mustal car or a drag car and need work done right, These are the guys you want wrenching on your ride! Definitely look them up, you wont regret it!

I know that shop too, they do some AMAZING work on muscle cars... they are a tad expensive though... worth every penny. (Sorry to raise old thread, was just checking in with the OP)

Might be a little far for the OP, but I've heard of this shop... I may need some Preventative Maintenance (flush fill etc) so I might head to this guy for a quote.

Thanks for posting this up
