Oh, and i think its in the early stages, no overheating and no squeeling. if i didnt pop the hood i would't never know about it. but its sweeping slighty down the front of the engine block.
Well when my 03 Hemi water pump went the other month, it started as a weep then within 1/2 a mile there was a torrent of coolant leaking out.
Not all I guess would be exactly like mine but, it's not a risk that I'd be taking by driving to work for a few days until I got things sorted.
If yours is a 4.7, coolings an issue anyway. So I definitely would not be taking the risk!
Just my humble opinion of course.

I doubt any shop will install customer-supplied parts. You'll probably have to return the pump. Really though, you are better off using the shop's parts because you can go back to them for any problem. The shop won't back parts that you supply.
Depending on the location of the leak you could be looking at a failing gasket. that was the case on mine. It would only leak when it was cold out and the gasket would shrink just enough to weep antifreeze.
also the replacement isn't that bad. once you get your fan, belt and hoses off, it's pretty smooth sailing.
best of luck with the replacement OP

Many shops will install customer supplied parts even oil change places will change your oil even if you provide you're own oil and filter they will just charge labor if I have to take my truck to a shop for work I'd rather supply my own parts instead of them getting the cheapest thing they can find just call a few shops and get some quotes on the labor since you all ready have the pump
