in my experience is that if you drive hard the stock plugs are to hot. i have to have 1-2 heat ranges colder to stop detonation given the way i drive.

You're right. It's just time consuming. Today my forearms are scabbed up from scrtaches and my stomach muscles are sore.

This getting old sh*t really sucks.

That is why I wear Nitrile gloves at least 6mil thick... they have saved me from many scratches and cuts.

Regardless, the swivel socket will make the job more easier with less pain on your back and less time to do the change.

Their may be a little difference in the 06 and 08 engine compartments. I could get the plug socket and first extension in the back holes with no problems, then just lowered the socket and extension a short ways then attached the second extension, lowered the socket onto the plug, attached the ratchet, reversed the process, and out it came. It was a little tedious, but it worked

Oh....the nitrile gloves go up to your elbows?

Most of my scratches were on my forearms....probably for the airfilter box.

lol no but that's where long sleeved mechanics shirt comes in very handy... I try to avoid working in short sleeves... got my forearms cut and burned enough times, so I put a stop to that... lol
