Just a heads up, you might consider a gasket set while you have it out and can get to everything easy

Jasper will put performance goodies in them as well. And still give you the great warranty.

Well, I bought this 2004 Dodge Ram Regular Cab Hemi.... Magnaflow exhaust, Leveled, 3.92 Gears, 20" Factory rims..... was a great truck it sat for 1&1/2 years but I rescued it!

Cutting to the chase motor had an oil leak I always put oil in but it was leaking from the rear main seal.... this upcoming week I was going to have it replaced but 2 days ago the engine started to knock really bad!

Any help on finding an Engine!? Can Durangos, Grand Cherokees, and Commander Hemi engine be used? Hard to find the engine around Massachusetts area.
NO THEY CANNOT.
They have a different crank sprocket which results in diff sensoring and ECU functionality.
Lots of lower mileage hemi engine's complete online(some on Fleabay) for less than $2kshipped to your door.

Found a 2006 2500 Hemi engine I know they don't contain MDS..... but will it plug in to my 2004 harness' - (PCM/TCM/ECU) stuff of that sort. I'm lacking alot of knowledge on the Hemi computers....... Or should I just reuse my old harness and electronics from the old engine....

Soon I'll have all this memorized like my Aurora's Northstar V8
