every 4x4 does this when they are in 4wd, it's completely normal..just give it more gas until the tires slip

That's why you should not use 4wd on dry ground. Especially if you make a sharp turn. It puts tremendous pressure on your front drive train. If you're in 4wd on dry pavement, keep the turns as wide as you can, better yet don't use it unless you're on slippery ground.

Completely normal as mentioned. It has something to do with the universal joints when they have power going to them if I'm not mistaken.

In any case, do NOT use 4x4 on dry ground or where the wheels are not allowed to slip.

Read up on "driveline windup".

Exactly!

Do not give it more gas until the tires slip, that pressure has to release somewhere...hopefully at the end of the line with a chirping tire, but it could be at the CV joint, ring and pinion, drive shaft, transfer case....etc!

Nah, u-joints are fine. Never given me any trouble, only in 4WD with the wheel turned all the way in one direction or the other.
