My ash tray is broke it was like that when I bought it off the guy I got it from im not a smoker Just want my truck to look nice.I want to put a new one in.Cause the old one is bent and wont close and the face came off it .how do i remove the ash tray anyway?and how much would one run me from the dealer no junk yards around here have one.thanks

 

You can find them on Ebay but they go for like $60 not sure how much the stealership would want

 

To remove just the front cover that swings open, you stick your hand in it and pull in a downward motion abruptly.

I'm not kidding, the manual basically states to give it a good reef to pull the ashtray out.

 

ok well the face of the ash tray is off it ,it came off the other day when i pulled on it.are you saying just put your hand in the ash tray and pull it hard to remove it?I thinkt hats what you mean anyway.just wondering what manual do you have I want to buy one for my truck thanks man.

 

I'm using the manual available in weedahoe's signature.

and yes it says to put your hand in, and pull sharply in a downwards motion to remove it.

it'll sound like it breaks....but it doesn't. I've removed mine a couple of times.
