So this is my first post of the forums.

I seem to be having some type of gremlin issue in my ram.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500. My blinkers are working, reverse lights and brake lights are working fine. When I turn my lights on my head lights come on but my tail lights don't.

I replaced the plate inside the tail light assembly that holds the bulbs, I thought that may be the issue, but it turns out it wasn't. I have looked at the fuses and they seem fine. The square fuse is hard to tell though but when I compared it to others it looked fine. I disconnected the battery and left the lights on for about half hour to try and reset the computer but that didn't work either.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before or does anyone have any ideas of what else I should try.

So I checked the park and tail lamp fuses, all seem to be good.

Checked the rear ground to the trailer lights, seems fine.

Checked the parking brake switch, it seems to be operational.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the famous corroded PDC (fuse box) issue.
Do a search on "park lights out" and you should find pages of how to isolate the fault, temporary fixes and permeant fixes.
