04 5.7L Hemi Broken Valve Spring Help
I am replacing the rack and pinion also and the mounting bolts im having a bitch of a time getting them to 235ft lbs i dont think i am strong enough to get them to that much lol any suggestions?
bigger torque wrench.... as long as the torque wrench can go that high you can put a pipe (solid steel/chromeoly is best) on the end of it to help you out a bit...
I had a girlfriend that was a gear head just like me (was awesome) and she couldn't get over 100ft-lbs with her size 0 85lb body.. lol
So I pulled the handle off my floor jack and put it on the end of the torque wrench and *poof* like magic it was effortless to get 200+ ft-lbs.
Just be very careful and don't slam the torque wrench around b/c they are pretty delicate tools...

I put all the spark plugs in besides 1 and compressed air into it and it still sounds like air is leaking out.. I did this for two different cylinders and both are the same i take it if one spring is broken on each side air is still going to leak? cause the spring isnt all the way up?
ok so obviously i dont know what i am doing because i cant get the retainer released i have the cylinder compressed with air and the valve easily pushes down with the push of a finger how do i get it to release

The screw on your tool should screw down to touch that little retaining clip and it should come right off with a little elbow grease...
I'm not too familiar with the miller tool, but that is what I am going to assume without seeing the rest of the tool mounted up.

Make SURE you have plugged all your oil return holes etc on the head with rags etc and then give the top of the retainer a tap with a small toffee hammer.
Watch for those small retainers and make sure you know where they go and collect them up.

Looks like you are using the wrong cup on the end of the tool? It should push down on the retainer, not the spring
Giving a tap on it might release it like Abarmby says but be careful putting it back together and releasing it so it doesn't snag or catch
