Default 09 ram 1500 p0300 code

So I recently replaced all 16 lifters in my 09 ram 1500. My truck threw a p0521 code previously, I checked oil and everything else and all was within normal limits. Shortly after, I started hearing a pretty loud knock (not the normal hemi exhaust tick). Checked oil again and was 4qts low. Filled oil, knock still there. After following recommendations from dodge mechanic friend I replaced all lifters...and 2 coil packs. After all was said and done, started right up, sounded great and drove fine....for about 8 miles. Then the knock was back. Parked truck for 3 day. Started back up, very minimal knock now, but now throwing p0300 code. That and I noticed when braking, it wanted to grab ALOT harder than usual. Anybody have any advice???

Good question about the oil.
Do you have a code reader that can tell you which cylinders are misfiring? The 0300 is multiple cylinders.
My first thought is valve cover gasket and spark plug seals. It is easy to roll the gasket/seals when installing the valve cover. If you don't have good seal on the spark plugs, you will get oil on the plugs and a misfire. Try removing some plugs and see if you can tell why they are misfiring. Some may be oily.

Not sure exactly where all the oil went. Started to notice dark spots in my gravel and oil buildup under the truck. So after I get this issue resolved its looking like a new oil pan gasket is next on the list. It's got 174k miles so prob time for a new 1

check the torque on the oil pan bolts before changing the gasket. I think yours is 130 inch pounds. That's not much torque and the bolts will work themselves loose over time.
