Default 2006 ram 2500 5.7 lost power to deck + both amplifiers

Hi there. I have a 2006 ram 2500 5.7 with a sound system and just yesterday out of the blue, I lost power to my stereo and both amplifiers. I checked the majority of the fuses but didn't really seem to be an issue.. I don't have a fuse panel box (the thing that tells me which fuse is for what) so if anyone could tell me what fuse to attend to, that would be great. Im guessing battery terminal wouldn't have anything to do with it?

please post what model stereo, and amplifier you have, also post what gauge wire you used for power to the amps.

I'm not familiar with the 2006+ models with the whole TMIP thing, or whatever. but i think i remember someone (maybe IZERO) saying that after 256x attempts it'll shut down the circuit and you have to get a new TMIP unit or something.

It was the first thing that popped in my mind after reading the thread. Maybe someone more familiar can elaborate, and probably tell me I was completely wrong

you will have to either get a new one or have the dealer completely reset it... they usually prefer to replace it with a new one... but I highly doubt that is the issue here..

Most Aftermarket Stereos have Fuses on the back of them, and Amps usually have two sets of 10-20A fuses (bigger if the amp is bigger) on them that can blow, that's why I asked for the model info from the OP...

Sooner he gets back on here and answers the better his chances of fixing the issue is...

I have a Jensen aftermarket double din dvd deck with a Massive Audio 4 channel amp (100w rms) and a 500w monoblock forget what brand. My friend was telling me that perhaps its could be the fuses that run from the battery terminalÉ I cant use question marks btw they come up asÉ I do have tipm issues but Ive never heard of the stereo going out because of that. hmm :S

Model numbers of your equipment would be fantastic.... can't help much till you give that.

But yes the first thing you should check is the fuse right off the battery that supplies your amp(s).

Is your stereo turning on? (the Jensen)

Jensen deck is not turning on either.

The model number for deck is Vm9224bt

Massive Audio amplifier model is nx4

and i think that my monoblocks amps model number is jljx5001d.
THanks

check your ground connections.

If the amp is not grounded properly you might see a problem there... I'll do some research later to see what else it might be... the TIPM systems can be a real big pain...

Did you hardwire the unit into the system or did you use the CAN Bus Adapter?

So sorry for late response as I was out of country. I just took it into my mechanic for another issue (not dumb enough to take it in just for that) and he just replaced the fuse. The fuse looked like it was still good but wasn't drawing any power so it's not my fault lol. Thanks for all of your help guys. Much appreciated
