Default 35's to 37's ?? tires??

thinking of making the jump for the next set of tires,, i know there is a general thought that you can safely run 35's with stock drive train, i have no problems with them the last 3 years,,
what needs to be done if i wanna move up to 37's??? anybody running them (pics)??

I know that the big things discussed on here were both the IFS parts and gearing which could eventually damage the transmission from overworking it due to the rolling weight of the tires. I think the biggest issue is the front suspension, and since you have a SFA, you pretty much negate most of that.

Yep with SFA you can run 37s with no real problems. Might want to start thinking about re-gearing though

Question thanx guys. (gearing?)

thanx for the info,, on the solid front axle of the mega cab,, as far as gearing, i imagine the stock gearing must be a 3:73?,
and if i re-gear, i have to do it to the rear and front (pumpkins) correct?
what is the common next gear up? 3:90's or 4:11"s?

Yes both diffs would have to be re-geared. The gearing really depends on what you use the truck for. If you're going to be off road and not much highway I would suggest 4.56s. With 3.92s or 4.10s (or whatever the equivalent is for HDs) you won't notice any real difference the justify the cost

thanx guys will see what the tax return yields,$$,, and will post up results..,,,,,weed I may try to keep the oem gearing, but knock on wood,, with 65k an only putting front an rear brakes on thru out the years, I don't wanna push it,, may throw sum 4:10's on it,, mainly ride over the deep sand,, but 98% street truck.
