Default Heated mirror but no rear defrost?

New owner (https://dodgeforum.com/m_1030709/tm.htm) learning about my purchase and searcing around.

Can find if it's normal to have the heated mirrors an a plain, unheated rear window or not.

Is this a normal config. for a quad cab or was the heated rear window possibly replaced with the plain one along the way somewhere?

My truck has power heated mirrors but the rear window is not the heated/defrosted kind. Heck I didnt even know that they had rear window defrost as an option on rams.

also Scott you can request a build sheet from dodge, and they give you all the things your truck was equipped with (kinda of like the window sticker on new vehicles). I requested one and got it by email the next day. Go to dodge.com then for owners button, and contact us. Ask them for a build sheet.

Thanks, guys. Was planning on doing the build sheet request at a dealer (going to pull service history anyway). Didn't realize I could do it online.

I have the heated mirrors, and the rear defrost option installed on my truck.. The rear defrost button is directly underneath the AC button.

my set-up is heated side mirrors and no rear window defrost. Also my rear window is one-piece (no slide window).

as far as i understand, if you got the single back window, no defrost. But if you have the sliding back window, you have defrost. I might be wrong, but thats just what I take from what I have heard on here.
