hi all

my hemi is kind of overheating. it will warm up and the temp gauge dances around. it will go past half way point sometimes as much as a 1/8 inch to 3/16 then it drops fast right back normal. never to red line or to point that i feel i should shut it down. coolant level is right on. i put a new thermostat and radiator cap on but still acting funny.

could i have air in the system or some thing?

dodge forums has been such a huge help. i thought i would ask u guys and gals before i bring it to the shop

Thermostat opening/closing. ??
Mines not stable either and will move up to but not beyond the halfway mark, then 1-3mm below halfway.
I have new a water pump new thermostat new radiator and hoses.
