Default 2008 Ram Factory Radio

I have a 2008 Ram 1500. The factory radio is not an infinity. I am replacing it with an aftermarket stereo. When I removed the factory stereo there were 2 plugs one with numerous wires and one with only 3 wires. The wiring harness i purchased fits the side with numerous wires. Can anybody please tell me what the other plug with 3 wires is for?

The second connector is for Sirius and/or Uconnect.... you shouldn't need it.

What color are the wires on the 3-wire harness?

When i put my double din in i noticed that as well. I had the REF. My truck is an ST so i didn't have the Uconnect or overhead computer. I just left it disconnected (bc there was no other option) and haven't lost any functions of any type.
