Default Quick question.....

Quick question guys, what should i use to clean my TB and EGR valve? also is it possible for a EGR valve to go bad in 3 yrs? will be 3 yrs in april that it was replaced. 05 1500 5.7 hemi.

I used TB cleaner when I cleaned mine. It is supposed to not take the coating off, but does clean well.
I would use it for the EGR as well.
Yes it is possible for it to fail in 3 years. Especially if you do a lot of in town driving.

Any certain TB cleaner to use? Wasn't sure if the the EGR valve is bad, seems like when i start to give it gas it hestitates for a second and then some whats takes off. when i first start the longer i let it idle the less change it studders if u want to call it that.
thats why i though maybe the egr valve might be dirty or the TB?!?!

NON chlorinated brake cleaner. Sea foam works well too.

I use CRC Throttle body and air intake cleaner.
Works good, you have to use a bunch of it sometimes though since it evaporates so quickly.
