Hey All

I got the dreaded call from my wife yesterday morning (I'm in Iraq now) She started crying and said how sorry she was, of course I'm starting to freak because I have no idea what to expect. She had been in an accident with our 05 Ram QC, and she was worried I'd be pissed, I didn't care about the truck, I told her we can get another truck, I can' get another her, she' fine just really shook up. I was just glad that her and our daughter were fine. I even cheered her up a little telling her we can get that optic burning yellow Daytona now or maybe her favorite color slime green GTXtreme. Well GEICO came out and appraised it at 8K's + unreal, but it is ours forever now. I'll post pic's when I get them. Stay Cool

Man that really sucks that your truck is destroyed, but, I'm glad your wife and daughter are ok. News like that when you are so far from home can really shake a guy up.
Well, time to start shopping again. Does she have another ride while the truck is being shopped for?

Aloha to all and thanks for the support. Well the Body shop was suppose to start fixing the damage. Glad I have the rental car insurance, so she's covered for that. I asked about upgrades like a SRT/Dayton hood and scoop and any ground effects too, still waiting for a reply, but I might have to wait and do it myself. After hearing about what happen I glad she was in this instead of the Sebring convertable we traded in for the truck with, I'd be heading home now for a bad reason. I'll keep everyone posted to the after shots. Heres the pictures.

This looks like one of those times it would be good to have a friend in the Paint and Body business. I have a friend that would do that. Because it wouldnt cost him anymore or less. I would make sure they are only using genuine mopar replacement parts and not generic. Unless you are planning on swapping it in as soon as the repairs are made.

Glad to hear that no one was hurt. You are right that is the most important thing.

I think the sublime green would look real nice. Not quite what color interior you would have with that other than black.

Hey Bruce, got your email on my beatup "Brandi". The wife thought she was at a 4-way stop sign when she pulled out and as you can see the results. The other truck was a Ram 1500 2nd gen body style that hit her, strike that, she pulled in front of. That ones totaled so I've been told. GEICO is still checking it out.
Hey what are those running boards and bed steps you have?? I'm really like that style. Also those wheels and tires are killer too, I've got the factory aluminums 17 x 8's ($275 a pop) You wouldn't happen to be in AZ would you, or is that Cali??

Easy mistake,nearly did it myself a few times,Glad there o.k.The running boards are luverne and the rims are Razor from MB motoring,tires are bridgestone deulers,
Tires and rims are 20 inch,rims were $190 each and tires were $547 for four.
