Default Back Up Horn

I took my 2005 D3500 4x4 to the Dodge dealer. They said there was a recall update that needed to be done. It was to activate the horn if the door is open & you are in reverse. My guess is some dip**** fell out of his truck & got ran over. Some POS lawyer decided theres a lawsuit. How do I disable that damned thing. Any Help appreciated. Drip

If it was an "update" then that means they put it in the computer, and there might not be a a way to disable it.

Also, for future reference:

you could always install an aftermarket horn and just disconnect the horn and reconnect it to a different circuit that you make. or disable your reverse switch. but then you wont really have reverse lights.

The only way you can reverse it is to install a new computer (BCM or TIPM I don't remember which) that does not have that programmed into it yet and do not have the recall done Good luck!
