Default Amplifier Mounting?

Hey guys.

I have a system (temporary) installed in my truck. I just have the amp on the floor right now, I was wondering were people are mounting them ( didn't find much on this using search). I have seen people mount them behind the rear seats but are you guys mounting them to the metal or?
Thanks a bunch.

I have seen many on here that mount the amps under the front seats.

Mounted mine under driver seat. Remember to run the power and RCA/speaker wires seperate. Run one down the passenger and across and one down the driver side. Or else you'll get the whine.

My 4-way is under the passenger seat, and my mono is under the rear bench on the passenger side. With a sub box in the back though, you have to be careful of the size amp you get, or you'll have mounting issues.
