Default Broke valve spring

My 04 3.7l has a broke valve spring on the #4 cylinder. Curious as to what special tools I might need to do the job without pulling the head. I don't believe the valve is bent(hope). Thank you.

some way to keep the cylinder pressurized with compressed are to keep the valves from dropping when changing the springs. A spring compressor is also needed. I would highly recommend replacing all of them before you lose another one.

You will need to buy the appropriate threaded air fitting to screw into the spark plug hole, and a rocker stud style valve spring compressor.Remove the plug for cyl 4, pressurize with air fitting. Rotate the engine to TDC on the comrpession stroke for cylinder 4, remove the rocker arm and thread the spring compressor onto the rocker stud. Compress the spring, remove the keepers, release the spring, replace it, compress the spring, install keepers, install rocker with appropriate loctite and torque spec.

For all of them at once, which I too recommend, just pull all the plugs and go one cylinder at a time, working your way through the firing order to save time on rotating the engine.
