Default LED Tailgate Bar

I was going to install my LED Tailgate bar today that I got a while ago but the 4-pin connector on the truck is all corroded. Am I SOL here?

Cut it off and wire in a new one. If something not working, check for blown fuse.

Good gravy lol either replace the 4 pin or just look at the directions and wire the bar in to the lights

Buy yourself a tube of Dielectric grease and cram as much into the terminal holes as possble. It's good stuff. I blob it on everything 2-3x's a year! I never have connector troubles...ever.

Also, get some heat shrink connectors. They are a transparent blue(14-16ga) connector and they shrink all in one. Perfect for behind your tires that spit up rain/mud..etc. Squirt dielectric grease into them before you even crimp. Then when you heat to shrink, it'll squeeze the grease into all the cracks aiding from moisture even more so then the hat shrink connector. It's like double wrapping...lol

Use contact cleaner. You can find it at any auto parts store or electrical outfit (Radio Shack) Its exactly for this purpose and it cleans on contact. You can use it on everything from computer motherboards to battery terminals.
