Default Transmission Cooler

My transmission cooler has been slowly leaking the past couple weeks, not enough to cause any real harm right now, but once i'm done with classes this semester I want to replace the thing. I found a few on summit racing but I'm not sure which one to get. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here is what I was looking at:

I am not sure what the inlet and outlet sizes are on the lines does anybody know for my truck, 2002 1500 5.9?

Thanks

Just go to a junkyard and pull one out of another truck. Once you find the truck it takes only 10minutes to pull it off. I did that with mine. I got a bigger tranny cooler and luckely it was the on the first ram I seen that day. It only cost me $25 and 10 minutes of my time.

Try to find a larger one from a 3500 Ram if you can, they are larger than the 1500.

Summit is selling some for about $50. Personally, I would rather spend the extra $25 to get a brand new one than get the used $25 and possibly have issues with it later on.

Its not a direct replacement cooler. You are gonna have to do a few things to make it work. The one from the junk yard is a direct replacment. If there's no leaks in it bye now it should never leak unless a stone or something from the road hits it. Me personally I would rather have a used leak free direct replacement cooler than a off brand cooler that gonna cost me more work installing it.

Oh I thought it was a direct replacement. What's missing from the Summit ones?

The one from summit will have to be fitted into place. Its not a direct bolt up. Also the fittings will have to be adapted with the adapters included. But just another thing that can leak!
