there will always be horror stories, because nothing is perfect. But, people who have trouble are way more likely to complain than people who have no issues whatsoever.

The guy that own the Batram also has a butt load of money that he dumps into his truck. It's possible but pricey

The 45RFE is still going damn strong in my dad's 02 with 127xxx mi on the original transmission.
Mine gave it up around 110,000. Replaced it and kept right on going. There's a dude with 420ci stroker in his 04 or 05 (can't remember) who can't seem to keep one in it.
