Default 2500 bumper to 1500 truck?

I tried to post this in the 3rd gen Ram DIY subforum, but it won't let me.

I'd like to buy this for my truck, cause I think it would really dress it up. It says that it's for a 2500-3500 truck, but I want to know if it will fit my 1500. If it won't, what modifications will have to be done to it/my bumper mounting brackets so that it will.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks.

Thats because the DIY section is for DIY guides, not DIY questions. DIY questions go in the technical section.

Moving you there now.

My concerns would be mounting since it was designed for 2500/3500 trucks, not 1500.

Would I be able to get some brackets that would make it work?

Might have to make them yourself. There's no telling until you actually look at it.
Unless someone with a bumper similar will chime in...

I did this to my 07 single cab. All I ended up doing was taking off the 2500 mounting brackets and had to redrill for new mounting . the only thing that is difference is the mounting. It will fit just have to add a few more holes.

I wish I could remember exactly how it was done but it is possible
