Hey guys.I have a 02 Ram 4.7..I have a quick question...I know the HO Jeep overland cams work in our 4.7's but I wanted to just be sure if the whole head will work also.. I found a good deal on a set of reman HO heads..Wanted to make sure my headers,Timming sprockets and everything will be good to go..I did search but everybody just used the cams.Thanks a lot guys..An I should be good to use my factory oil pump also?

 

It may be a stupid question and I don't see why they wouldn't fit...But there is a no refund notice and I just wanted to confirm the fit....

 

Is there any real difference in the heads between HO and non HO (other than the cams)?

Ah ok, different chambers. You need to see what the different cc will do to your compression ratio.

 

Thankyou for the link...Was a good read...I knew they were different...Just wondering if anybody ever swapped heads and if it was ok to do so...I only want the cams...But the guy won't sell me the cams..But will sell me both heads...And they have been rebuilt...I was thinking,Hey,Why not use um...I was going to put new lash adjusters and anything else that needed to be redone in my heads anyway.So I wanted to do the cams while I was in there...If I do the heads I will know its all good plus new Head gaskets..But thanks again for your replys
