Im thinking its the gauge as well i will compression check and what not , and i run mobile 1 10-30 with the mobile 1 filter or k&n filter. i just wish they had a replacement for the dummy oil pressure gauge that would read the real pressure.

Is there a way to replace the stock gauge with a gauge that actually shows pressure and not just a dummy gauge

You'd have to get to the oil sending unit on the back side of the engine and run a new gauge from there.
