Default 45rfe Sonnax line booster problem

Hey guys...I have a 02 qc 4.7..I just put the sonnax booster on the other day and noticed when the truck is in overdrive my rpms drop up 100rpms or so..Its very slight but enough to make it feel like someone is hitting me in the back bumper..It gets on your nerves for sure..It seems it does it must around 1500-2000 rpm range..Again only in Overdrive..Anybody else have any problems like this?..Oh and If I take the booster off it doesn't do it...It sucks because the booster does make a difference..Thanks guys

I kept It on for a week..Driving 65 miles round trip to work a day..I did reset the computer..I am running a superchips tuner but mine is a 02 and I don't think it does to much for the tranny..But I did take the tune off and set it to stock and it still done it..Randal from sonnax told me to try an set the truck to stock...That's why I did that..I don't have a scan tool that will reset the tcm or whatever but after a week it wasn't any better then day 1..

Hey guys,I wanted to tell you what happen with this problem...After waiting and trying different stuff I decided to check the wires on the booster...Come to find out the resistor wire on the booster was dead..So I sent it back and got a new Sonnax line booster and bam,ITS fixed....So it was the booster itself the whole time...Trucks runs good and shifts great...

Those boosters are a nice little mod, run one myself. Glad you got it figured out.

You should be able to take a volt meter and use the leads to measure the resistance and wiggle the wires to detect a loose connection

There is 3 wires..2 of them are skinny and 1 is thicker..The one that was bad on mine was the thicker wire(resistor wire). It wasn't loose..I think the resistor was bad on mine....Mine didn't work from day 1..
