Question Outer tire rods question.

Hello.

I recently bought a 2003 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with 4" lift and now it's time to change outer tie rods on it. I ordered a set of Moogs ES3538, but they are 2" longer than the ones that i have on my truck and the thread is more thin so moogs falter.

The problem is that i don't know the brand of my lift, probably it's Rancho 4". I send them a question about tire rods for this lift and they reply that i should use Rancho RS602614 outers. But this part is not listed in the rock auto from where i can order parts.

On some other forums i've read that 06-08 half ton rams can use RS602614, the question if i order outers for 06-08 half ton for example moog es80574 will it fit my truck?

thnx for reply.

I have the Rancho 4" lift for IFS torsion front truck, YES the kit replaces the tie rod ends with shorter, thicker ones. I had one get wobbly on me 5 years after installing the kit and Rancho sent me not one, but two free of charge...
