air conditioner not cooling at a stop
My 2006 Ram 1500 Hemi has been having problems cooling at a stop or in town traffic. It cools great on the highway. I replaced the fan clutch today expecting resolution, but was very disappointed when I drove it to find it still wasn't cooling properly. Again, it works great on the highway.
Anyone else had this problem? Is it possible that I got a defective fan clutch? Can anything else cause this problem?

Most likely, you need one of these...

It's an easy fix for someone mechanically inclined. I'm not, but it only took me a couple hours on a saturday to change it out.
Watch this:
And part 2:
Difference is, when you get it out, you're just going to remove the motor from the fan and replace just the motor, then put it all back together.

Condenser fan is the first place to check, next thing to do if the fan is working is go and get some simple green at walmart or any grocery store, soak your condenser with it, let it sit for about 10-15 min and just rinse it out with a hose.
Spray every inch of it from both sides starting with the inside (engine bay side)... that will blow all the road grit and other crap outa there.
