The snap ring broke off in gears and was making the noise every time I turned. Took axle shaft out and replaced snap ring. Thankfully that's all it was. I just recently put a 6" skyjacker on the truck. Before I had crazy cv angles so I always went through them cuz I run the truck pretty hard. Should be good now thanks. And no I didn't lock it in on pavement.
