Default Air Outlet - Passenger Side

Does anyone know how to replace the Passenger Side Air Outlet, the one right next to the passenger side door in the dash??
The part is only 20 bucks but the dealership wants $800 to replace it. They say you have to remove the whole dash for this replacement.
Is this True???
Is there a way to remove the dash a little bit and be able to replace this air vent?? There are no good youtube videos that show the passenger side dash removal.

Default Heater Box

Is is possible to take apart the two haves of the Heater box while it is still attached to the firewall?
I would really not like to disconnect the AC lines from the heater box is possible.
Is so, i would try to replace the doors i need to while the dash is pulled back and the heater box is still installed.
Thoughts??

Maybe the best thing for you to do is download a copy of the service manual and used it as a step by step guide
