today i went across town to my sisters and i parked my truck, about an hour later she took my truck to the store and as soon as she started it the power steering didnt work, but it worked before i parked it, with no visible leaks in the lines and the fluid is at the full line, would a p/s pump quit out of nowhere like that? any help would be great!!

When parts fail, they do not always give a warning.

Pull the fan belt and then pull on the power steering pulley. There was a problem with the power steering shaft just snap inside the pump. Without warning.

Thats what happened to the pump on my ram and my 4.7 grand cherokee(same pump). The grand cherokee just died all of a sudden, the ram had some warning but in the end the ps pump shaft snapped
