rough idle and stalling

Default rough idle and stalling

04 1500 5.7 stalls when rpms get below 1000 have to keep gas pedal help to keep running cleaned the TB

just a guess. the throttle plates are dirty. some spray cleaner is not expensive. my dad had a saying about trouble shooting. 'look ad the easiest and cheapest things first."

I cleaned them I've been told so many things could be wrong and now i have to jump it off to start it up could a battery cause the problems I'm having?

Yes a battery can cause this issue. Have it checked. Don't just check the voltage on it with a meter, but have it tested under a load. Most auto parts places can do this for you.

Based on what you have posted to this point, you should probably bring it to a shop, and have a professional look at it.

How is the engine running? And is the check engine lamp on?

Yes the engine light is on the engine runs rough the rpm gauge fluctuates and if it gets below 1000 rpms it stalls so I've got to hold the gas down to keep it running

If i can't figure out what's wrong ill have it towed to a shop someone said a bad egr valve or iac valve but i don't think the 04 rams has a iac valve
