looking for a 4.7L block
So as life goes just when you get enough money saved up to buy something you want/need life decides that something else shall break and require your saved funds to fix it.
I've been trying to source an engine for my truck. 2003 4.7L 1500 quad cab 4x4. I'm on the fence on whether I want to build it myself or have a shop build it either way I can do it myself. What I'm looking for is a good foundation to start my project with so if you know anywhere I can get a decent block I would greatly appreciate it guys

so far ive found one for 350. Being that my 4.7 bit the dust and had pitting in the 7th and 8th cylinder so my engine was no good. I'm probably going with that since I have all the parts for the engine and a machine shop quoted me for 1800 for all the labor plus putting it back together as well as machining in some better oil guides for the heads

Because if i go with a 5.7 ill have to change everything electronic wise plus is more than likely be looking at 2500 over my initial cost of the 4.7. Ive thought about it dont get me wrong would love to but financially its just not feasible for me atm
