Default Will all 3g bumpers fit my 06?

So, I had a car spin in front of me in the snow the other day and i had to swerve off the road into the deep snow and the *** end came around and smacked the center divider. It only hit hard enough to put about a baseball sized dent in the corner of the bumper but the chrome chipped off and its already rusting after 4 days. I also have a dent in the middle of the bumper where the horse trailer came loose and hit the truck so im thinking that im going to hunt around for a "new" bumper. I think that all of the bumpers from 2002-2008 will fit but Im not 100% sure. I could look up the part numbers and such but i had hoped that someone could give me a definite "yes they will all fit" without having to hunt around.

FYI, I have an 06 Laramie quad cab.

The 02-05 bumper covers are the same, but the 06-08 covers are different.

Yes, but I think he was talking about the rear bumper which are same. The fronts are different because of the headlights...

My bad..i didnt specify rear bumper.

The damage really isnt all that bad but Im still pissed off about it. My truck does alot of work for a 1500 and it has its dings from that work but this is by far the worst.

all good. i kinda figured because the way you described your accident!

I have 3 small dings on my tailgate from a piece of firewood I threw up onto the dump trailer and it ended up skidding on top and went up and over. I was pissed. Another small dimple from my trailer cutting it too hard. That could have been much worse! So, I took good with the bad on my 2 incidents.
Anyways, I hear ya. My 1500 albeit only 15.5kmi does a lot more work than a 1500 should have to. I should just keep it hooked to my car trailer all the time. Always towing 5500-6klbs loaded and 2k unloaded. My truck reminds me of myself. Married with a kid and always has dead weight attached...lol j/k

So, driving around with a banged up bumper...are you afraid people look at you like you are a bad driver? lol

Considering that i was headed into the wall nose first and that would have certainly amounted to massive damage, i was pretty pleased to see a 2 inch scratch on the body and a dent in the bumper. however, when the corner of the bumper turned bright orange with rust the next day, i was pissed and so was amanda.

The bumper wasnt perfect to begin with. When we bought our horse trailer, i was out of town so amanda went to get it herself. the trailer place hooked it up but didnt do it right and when my wife went to drive away, it slid off of the ball and the safety chains caught it. then she stopped and it rolled into the back of the truck. dent in the bumper, small crease in the tailgate...but no broken chrome or paint and no rust. She also jackknifed the truck and trailer once when she was in a tight spot. she had a "spotter" but he wasnt paying attention and the rr corner of the truck hit the trailer but only scuffed the nightshades on my taillight and left a surprising dent on the trailer that i pushed back out.

These days, i haul more stuff than i tow but ive gotten tens of thousands of pounds of horse feed in the past year in addition to hauling a variety of horse trailers and car trailers.

and yes, i am worried about people looking at my bumper and thinking "he must be a bad driver"...haha
