I wasn't implying that you didn't know how to do it lol. I'm just saying that I'd hate for you to tear it apart, put it back together and realize that you should've done the other things also. Then tear it apart again. That's what happened to me! . As for the not getting the alignment, it can be done. I tried it. I got the drivers side right on,But got the pass side off by 2 degrees. It wasn't much, but it was enough to notice lol! Hope you have better luck than I did

@rtm I got ya man. no worries. There really isnt much more to tear apart if I have to go back in for the BJ's other than knocking the tierod back off and thats a piece of cake!
I just dont want to spend anymore money. As it is, I ONLY need the one outer tierod.
The seal leak is very very minor and the swaybar bushings...I'm just a freak and most people wouldnt ever change them out.

and I just measured my sway bar diameter. It is 32mm. I'm, going to replace the swaybar mount bushings as well to match the end links.

I spray my truck off underneath EVERY time it goes on the street in a storm. There's a spray wash at the end of my street.
I drive my Buick for the most part as I put 4 snows on it for the winter. It does exceptional. The truck only goes out in the middle of a storm if need be.

This is a pic of the back and frame rail. The front looks just the same!

Good to know on the prices. I might need to do this myself soon as I'm having some serious rattle noise and it's either coming from the shock mounts or the tie rods. Hopefully I won't need to do BJs either since I don't have the tools to do those being up in college.

So I just swapped out my pass side outer tie rod for now. Took 20min total.
I peeled the boot off the tie rod which was in good shape, no dry rot or rips. Do they even put grease in these things? There was barely anything in there. There is significant up/down and side/side play. The threaded part wont even stay straight up without falling to one side. There's rust in there as well. I suppose I probably could have injected some grease in there but that won't get it up inside the joint area...
Note: I did not wipe it down at all.

The driver side inner rod has some play but it'll be fine until warmer weather because i rarely drive the truck anyways.

I'm going to either replace the outer seals or do a whole rack rebuild. Haven't decided yet.
