Default 3.7 motor knock

Yesterday after our good cold day (28-30 degrees) I noticed my truck starting to knock. I did take a video and will post it as soon as I learn how, what are my chances this is an easy fix?

Take the fan belt off and inspect the water pump.

Is the pulley loose? Because I had the same noise from a 3.6 pentastar engine in a 2012 minivan. The pulley for the water pump had broken.

It seemed ok I do however have a new pump and fan clutch for it I'll put them on and hope for the best. Most everyone who hears it says it's a rod knocking.

Did you start the engine without the fan belt on the engine? Does it still make the knocking sound?

Ended being the water pump, the pulley was almost completly seperated from the actual water pump. Runs like a top
