Firstly Here's what error codes you've got :-

P2106
Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced
Limited Power
P2107
Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor
P2108
Throttle Actuator Control Module
Performance
Throttle Actuator Control System – Sudden
High Airflow Detected
P2173

So your throttle body is highly indicated.

Have you disconnected the battery and drained off all the residual current in the ECU by leaving your lights and heater and stuff on for 15 mins?

Do that, then turn everything off and reconnect the battery making sure it's a good battery and fully charged, as battery's with defective cells and not holding charge give our trucks so very many electrical gremlins.
Try restarting it. If it's good, you've cleared the fault and the codes by doing this.
If it comes back with the same codes, take off and clean the throttle body and check the connecters to it etc.
That's the first things I'd try.

I would also suspects a blown intake manifold too. If you had a backfire the manifold could have split open and cause the high Idle and the throttle control codes. Because that would cause a vacuum leak, and a vacuum leak will cause high Idle.

It would split open on the back side and you wouldn't be able to see it. But if you spray some carb cleaner and if the Idle drops to normal range. You found the vacuum leak.

You may have a cracked manifold after the backfire but.... What caused the high revs and "an angry machine" in the first place??
That's possibly what caused the backfire and then the potential manifold problem?
Just saying........cause then effect.
