Default 2006 1500 stuck in 4low

I have a 2006 ram 1500. Had it in 4low coming up a grassy slope. Now stuck in 4low. The indicater keeps flashing 4low no matter where i have it positioned. One suggestion was the transfer case control module. Any ideas on it or where it's located?

bots52,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with the 4WD system in your truck.
The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) functions are located within the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM).

The TIPM provides the main voltage and protection to the entire truck. The component relates to many aspects of the vehicle. It may be beneficial to have someone take a look to pinpoint the cause, I'd hate to see you replace a part unnecessarily.

Take Care,

You have it in neutral and your foot on the brake correct? Scan for codes and it should tell you why it is flashing.
