(New Owner) 06 Hemi Mega Cab 1500 Questions
I know that my 1500 Mega Cab is on a 2500/3500 frame,
I would like to know if any 1500 Hemi Full Length Headers
would fit inside the frame rails of my 1500/2500 Mega Cab..
How can I find out what Gears are in my Rears on my truck??
What companies make a Quality SRT-10/Daytona Ram Hood??
Also, what company makes the best all around comp programmer?
Thanx,
Rob

Go here:
http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/Recall.html
Click "equipment Listing" on the left and enter your VIN. Will give you a build sheet showing what gears you have.

On any rear wheel drive vehicle, you can check your gear ratio by putting the rear on jack stands, and marking the driveshaft, then mark a spot on one of your rear tires, then either you or a friend watch the driveshaft and count the number of turns it makes, while someone turns the tire a full turn. It's not perfect but if you get 3 driveshaft turns to one tire turn the ratio is 3.00, 4 drive shaft turns to one tire turn and its 4.00. It will get you in the ballpark every time
Most people on here prefer the Superchips Flashpaq for their Dodge, it also has tranny shifting adjustments, I just ordered one myself for my Mega but I don't get home until Monday night. I will get back to you on Tuesday morning and let you know how it does. You will love your Mega as long as you don't get too hung up on the gas mileage.
