Any issues with BBK 4009 shorties fitting my 2003 2500 QC 4x4? Want to go LT but not seeing anything appealing in my budget

I called BBK about the fit on my 05 2500 4x4. They told me they won't fit. Said the engine is slightly off set to the right to clear the front differential and doesn't leave enough clearance between the engine and frame.

This is with the hemi engine.

 

Hmmm, here is to hoping I can stuff them in there. Got a set for 100.00, will know soon.

I sure will, I will go so far as to do minor fitting if required. There is nothing affordable for my truck for headers. Worst case I will put the new motor in with stock manifolds for now. The previous motor ventilated the block with a piston

 

I asked BBK support what specifically it may touch or interfere with. I also found this which is interesting as it says fits 2500:

Yah they fit. Not sure why there is so much misinformation on headers for our trucks.
