Trying to find the below but every site seems to call it by a different name and the pictures aren't good enough to tell for sure its the right part?

Is this the "Front Bumper Lower Air Dam?"

I know 1500 Part # is 82209818 and is discontinued but can still be purchased from leftover stock. i think 2500's are the same.

Thanks guys. Been thinking about taking mine off completely as well but it just looks a bit funny to me without it.

I would think it helps keep the underside of the engine clean and reduce drag on the underside components such as trans crossmember, exhaust..etc
it's no coincidence they are placed on pretty much every vehicle made...

Chrysler calls it an "Air Deflector' as I stated before because it's purpose is to deflect the air.
