Actually, I picked up the volant for 285$ shipped. That was cheaper than any other one I found, with the exception of the Air raid (when it was on special) I installed the volant today, and I must say, that i am very impressed. The sound was impressive, Nice and deep with a good rumble. I also noticed a sig. pickup in low end power. I have not had it installed long enough yet to notice an increase in MPG, but Im sure its the same as all the others, anywhere from 1-2 MPG.
I would advise you to pickup the Volant, I purchased mine on Ebay from southern hot rod.

i am thinking about getting a CAI for my ram. But have you really noticed much of a difference than stock? i looked at the instalation instructions and noticed that it was the only CAI that did not eliminate the resinator box on the top of the engine. the airaid and k&n eliminate it with a straight tube, but the voliant does look alot cleaner but it is the most expensive.
