frt hub nut size?

frt hub nut size?
I need to replace my lt frt hub bearing assembly and want to have all the tools needed in hand before I start . I need to now what size socket I need for the big nut on my 2006 ram 1500 4 w/d and also the 3 smaller nut that hold the assembly on the back side of the assembly.

Hey, I just did this myself It should be a 35 MM axle nut, and 18MM hub bolts. I don't recall the size of the caliper mounting bracket, but I think it was 3/4". Make sure you have on hand new bolts for the hub in case they get damaged. I summed up my install here:

Axle nuts are kind of forgiving on the socket size. The book says a 35mm, and that is what I used. The axle socket kits that you can buy/rent at auto stores are often just the even sizes, so that's what people use. I rented a set last summer to do the hub on my sister's car and just made do with a socket slightly too big. I think you'd actually be fine with a 36mm, but I'm positive I used a 35mm.
