Or drop your truck off at a shop and have them do it. You dont seem knowledgeable enough to be doing this kind of work.
If you knew anything you would have figured all this out by now easy enough.

The glove box door won't have a build sheet, just a small summary. It should have whether the diff is LSD. It may have the ratio. If not, there should be a tag on the diff ("3.5" or "3.9")

Thx for the help guys. Rduck you Can Kiss my @$$. If you don't have something constructive why don't ya just go back to yanking your pud? I know if I had the time I could find it out. And I will. I just thought someone on here would know being you are all Dodge Guys. I am a mechanic moron. I know I can call dodge with the VIN. But I work on Ford not Dodge. This is the first Dodge I have owned and I was trying to avoid a wait for a reply from Dodge.

Anyways to the rest thanx. It was a bit helpful. I rebuilt the rear a few years back and am going to do the front, but add a locker in the front. Now that I have a third vehicle I can finally retire the truck as a DD and make it a fun truck.

I believe I'm right in saying that, nobody makes a "locker" for the IFS 8" front on a dodge.
If you want that, you have to fab up a solid axle, then install one.
