Default Interior Fan Speed Issue

Hey guys,

I am not a big electrical guy so maybe you guys can help me troubleshoot this problem. When using my heat/AC my fan only works on full blast. The guy I bought my truck from said he had replaced the motor for the fan. Either the guys was lying or there is something else causing my issue. If anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Jeremy.

Fan motor speed control / resister.

Passenger side. Bottom of fan box. Two Philips screws. Replace it. Problem solved.

When the resistors fail, the motor will only run on High.

Okay thanks for the help, as for changing these resistors are they fairly easy to get to? and can I just pick them up at any autozone or auto parts store?

Check RockAuto.com for the resistor as well as the 2nd Gen Sticky for a current discount code. I just did this for a friend's Chevy a couple of months ago.
