There are a couple of threads on this but I replaced mine with LED's. Don't remember the number for the LED's but a Google search or site search should bring it up.

Super bright led theres there sizes make sure to get neo4's and get the ones at top of list they have a wider beam angle which will eliminate hot spots when shopping for dash lights look for the led's that has SMD Led's they have the best beam spread The NEO4 That's 2.29 each they are SMD
If you choose to do your dash lights with led The bulbs are B8.5

NOTE: If your Just looking to replace them With standard bulb The # is PC118/PC119

I believe he is asking how to disassemble the dash to remove the proper control unit in order to gain access to the bulb(s) in question.

Pull the dash piece off the dash, unscrew the controls from the back. Replace the bulbs. Not hard.
