head stuck to block
He has the timing chain off... you don't want to be moving **** around when the timing chain is off...
Glad you finally got the head off... I've had heads "seize" to a block before... it took a torch and a deadblow mallet to get them to come apart... the damn thing took quite a beating..

Didn't use anymore chemicals or sprays to help?
Future reference: Diesel fuel is great for loosening up tight parts and pieces.
Good job though.

Now that he's gotten off and now you come and suggest that he's properly thinking where was you two days ago LOL
Yeah its been a busy weekend to say the least. But, I've had diesel unseize pistons so future references never hurt anyone.
Yeah Just Thought That Was A Little Funny That He Is Done With it LOL
I did switch from wd40 to that pb pentration stuff. Not sure if it helped or was just getting frustrated and hitting harder. Either way glad its done will have to remember diesel fuel for next time.
it really depends on if you want to take the pistons out of the block or not.... if not your options are extremely limited.
Also, I personally wouldn't want to clean my pistons while they are still in the block... the last thing I'd want is the carbon deposits to flake off and buildup around my piston rings.... that will cause some pretty serious issues.
I'd much rather take the pistons out, replace the bearings, and piston rings and soak them in carb cleaner or another professional cleaning solution (there are some good ones out there) and then reassemble.... Otherwise I'd just suck whatever is loose out with a vacuum and put the heads back on.
