steering front end noise

Default steering front end noise

This just started to happen.... turning steering wheel back and forth the while sitting still
I hear a clunking noise.could. it be. The coupling on the steering shaft.

ball joints upper & lower and them outer tie rods, unless this is all brand new then check the control arm bushings

Maybe not protocol but I put some wd40 on that steering
coupling and it worked.

Sounds like it was binding. If WD-40 helped, you can try to clean it off (soap and water with a brush or maybe brake parts cleaner) and grease it with something longer lasting like Lithium spray grease.
