Mods are not cheap. Make sure plugs, filters and fluids are changed regularly.
Good Luck

He's right,Mods are not cheap but there are a few inexpensive ones out there.I started small and gradually worked my way up. I started with a intake and a k&N filter. then went to a programmer (I know I jumped the gun when I bought it. It was mostly to fix the speedo meter). Then i went and got a power wire and then a transmission pressure booster. then I went expensive and got my exhaust done with some gibson headers and a dual Flowmaster muffler. start off small and cheap and then work your way up Eventually you'll have a plan that you want done.

I got this one. This is direct from airraid. I got it for way cheaper from another online dealer. it was like $100. It was only the tube and not the filter.I went to autozone and bought a K&N filter for like $50

Aside from intake, a new muffler is not too expensive.

You talking engine mods or cosmetic mods? Intake, exhaust and tuner will help get the most out of the 4.7L. Power wire does nothing, the computer evetuually compensates.

I liked superchips for the ability to tune the transmission as well as the engine.

True, except at WOT. Every day driving you won't notice, until you floor it. It makes a difference when you want it.

I have an '03 with the 4.7L and modest mods don't really do a lot. I have the typical CAI, SuperChips tune, power wire and electric fan. I figured it helps, but you won't get a seat in your pants type of power increase. What I've done, instead, was help keep the power the 4.7L was pushing, by swapping my gears to a higher ratio.
